A question on Prophesy verses being a Prophet
Ok I'm just wondering if there is a way to test myself to see if I am a prophet or simply prophetic?
Be blessed,

I would simply spend a great deal of time in the WORD of GOD and seeking the Holy Spirit to give you what He desires you to know...concerning your question, for God knows all...
May you receive the wisdom and understanding you desire.
May you receive the wisdom and understanding you desire.

Personally, I went to an AGLOW meeting and the visiting prophet prophesied over me. It was very eye opening and exciting.
Like I read today on the Elijah list, "For this reason, the most prophetically-gifted people I know do not hear prophetically very well for themselves. This is because the Lord has made His Body to depend on one another so we will have to walk together as we are called to accomplish our purpose." ~Rich Joyner
Sometimes it is hard to hear the truth instead of what we want to hear. Just some thoughts to consider.
Blessings!

The shepherds have become stupid,
they have not consulted Adonai.
This is why they have not prospered,
and all their flocks are scattered.
