Helloooo Helloooo Hellooooo (guess who!)

Well ... I was just thinking ... could it be this ...

You know how sometimes parents look at their grown children, but kinda forget that they've grown up ... so they really struggle as seeing them as adults. Coz in their hearts, they child is still the little 10 year old that they loved and cared for. Could that be why he's 10 in the dream?

Just a thought. Toss if it doesn't fit.

Apart from the fact that this dream is gut wrenching for you (I know exactly what you mean ... had a few dreams like that myself), the rest of the dream really seems OK, doesn't it. Like it's totally OK, that he disappears up the stairs.

Hello ET,

I pray these scriptures will comfort you, and guide you concerning this dream.....

John 21

Jesus Restores Peter

15 So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”

16 He said to him again a SECOND time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[c] do you love Me?”

He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.”

He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”

17 He said to him the THIRD time, “Simon, son of Jonah,[d] do you love Me?” Peter WAS GRIEVED because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?”

And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.”

Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep. 18 MOST ASSUREDLY, I SAY TO YOU, WHEN YOU WERE YOUNGER, YOU GIRDED YOURSELF AND WALKED WHERE YOU WISHED; BUT WHEN YOU ARE OLD, YOU WILL STRETCH OUT YOUR HANDS, AND ANOTHER WILL GIRD YOU AND CARRY YOU WHERE YOU DO NOT WISH." 19 This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God

Hebrews 11
11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was PAST THE AGE, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude—innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore.

The Heavenly Hope

13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.

The Faith of the Patriarchs

17 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18 of whom it was said, “In Isaac your seed shall be called,” 19 concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.

May the Lord comfort you and build your faith in His Word.....

Letting go by faith........
