my childhood dream

When I was young I had recurring dreams.
The ones I remember most were the disturbing ones.

Here is one.

Indians were coming to attack. They came in our house.
They came and cut off my younger brothers foot.
They wanted to leave with it but could not find where they put it.
They ran around and around our house (I think you call it a shotgun floorplan - you can go from one room to the next in a circle - it was about 1000 sq ft). I sat right on our couch in the living room with my brother's foot under/behind my back and they continued to run right past me - like I was not there.
I knew that it was my job to protect - but I don't understand it.

This is what I think I'm seeing.....

I believe this dream is about at least part of your calling in the Kingdom.

I believe your brother represents your brother(s) in Christ, and that the foot is about spreading the gospel. The enemy comes in to steal the ability to go forth to spread the gospel, and there is some success in this delay. It is your job to protect. Undercover agent - intercessor for missionaries?

does that bear witness?

ABSOLUTELY!!!

Thank you so much for sharing this.
And the idea that I am unseen and praying for protection.
It is an area that I will pray about - I agree with the intercession.
And interesting how they wanted to steal the foot and take it with them.

I am very glad that I posted this - it is probably a 22-25 years ago dream.
