SORRY. 13 hour internet outage Spectrum Internet went dead 7p yesterday to 8a this morning.

Lots going on with the internets nowadays

Too much congestion of the networks due to all the telework and tele-school's going on lately. Unfortunately, our's was due to a reckless driver who slipped off the road and plowed through a fiber backbone internet box owned by the cable company. It took out most of the west side of San Antonio's (~100k customers) cable and internet. The cable company is usually pretty good to get their networks back up quickly after storms and the like, but it takes time to get fiber spliced and re-routed, so it took them all evening/night and into the next morning to get it fixed.

Sorry we have internet glitches tonight 5/27/2020... massive thunderstorms hit San Antonio this evening with sideways rain and pea sized hail in our neighborhood. We lost power a couple of times, but the UPS held up the server/router through the outages like a champ.

I think there were tornadoes and baseball sized hail just north of us in Kerrville and Fredericksburg tonight about 45 mins north/west of us... all headed toward hill country and Austin area next.
