Can't leave hospital

I had this dream this morning, and I need help with interpreting part of it. Full disclosure: I am facing a health issue.


This morning, I dreamed I was at lunch and after lunch I was in this building I have never been in before. While on the elevator, I started talking to someone who in the dream was a friend, but in real life, I don't know who she is. For whatever reason, I had a mop, bucket and some kind of cleaner in my hand.

I got off on a floor and was trying to get back to work. But I could not get out of the building--which turns out was a hospital. I was walking around and every floor, there was no exit. I went back down to where I originally entered, and when I got to that floor, a doctor was calling my name. I said,'Did you call [my real name] (he had mispronounced my name). He said 'yes' and ushered me in his office. I was panicking because my purse and medical report was in my purse and my purse was in my office at work. I tried telling him that, but he began examining me. He said it was okay. He began asking me about the issue I'm dealing with and his face was concerned.

I must have fallen asleep.

When I came to, another doctor was examining me. He said 'Aneurysm?' I said, 'Yes, they run in my family.' He looked into my left eye and, 'I am not sure I can see you on Sunday.' In the dream, it was Tuesday. I said,'That's okay, I see the other doctor on the 13th.' He said, 'good. Make sure you keep that appointment.' EOD.

As I said, I have a health issue and have an appointment with a specialist on the 13th. I was kind of thinking about canceling it because it is a small thing, but has the potential to be serious. So I get the part about the doctor telling me to keep the appointment. What I don't get is why I could not get out of that hospital? I tried and tried to get back to work, and every floor was another are of the hospital. I was very frustrated. While I have been researching my issue, I am trying not to worry; the Lord told me I am not going to die. So, is this dream just an extension of me worrying, or should there be something specific I should pray about? Or does it really have anything to do with me? Also, aneurysm is not the issue I am looking at.

This is not an interp, just my thoughts.

In response to your question about not being able to leave the hospital. I do feel it is an extension of your worrying. Maybe you are trying to avoid being seen by the Doctor for this small thing but there were no exits because the Lord doesn't want you to avoid this. I'm not suggesting that your health issue is something serious. But the Lord sees and knows all things. He wants to protect us from dangers unseen and maybe in this case prevent a potentially big health issue in the future. I hope you keep your appointment.

Thank you! I have been worried about what's going on. Since the beginning, the Lord has nudged me to make sure I get it checked out. I have my appointment with the specialist on Friday. Thank you for confirming what I need to hear.
