I think it may vary from case to case TS, but yes, I do believe it could be possible. Asking Holy Spirit to shed His Light and give you the wisdom and understanding you need.

It would be interesting to see what someone like Joan Hunter thinks of bi-polar. She has specific prayers for various diseases and conditions (I think in a book called Healing the Whole Man).
I've just been thinking of this sort of issue. I was watching some youtube clips by christian psychologists. The woman in the clip mentioned the difference between a personality disorder and a chemical imbalance.
I don't know if there's anything spirit behind manic depression, but I think it's a chemical imbalance.
Sometimes there are spirits attached to those things, and sometimes not. But I know with the brain, it's amazing how it can be healed.
I would be curious to hear what you find out if you end up doing some research.
