Spaceship Dream

My son Jericho had this dream and would appreciate any insight! We have had a lot of
transition and change the past few months. A major decision recently to walk away and
go through a new door

Dream, 6:40pm, 2015

I had a dream I was on a spaceship with 3 other people. The first was a Girl who I have never met before in real life but in the dream was very close to Me and My family. She was kinda the person who knew everything about the spaceship. How to fly it and everything. The second person I never saw on the spaceship but the person was Vaugn Lorenz. The 3rd person was weird, kind of a mix between Jared Borzel and Chris Meyer.

In the dream, it was kind of like watching a movie. It was flashing back and forth Of Me on earth and Me on the spaceship.

On the spaceship, the action had already started. The ship was malfunctioning and We Were going to crash into earth below. Me and the girl were trying to get buckled up and prepare for the impact. I looked over and saw a door close that I believe held the other 2 guys that were on the spaceship. She was looking at calculations on the computer. Calculating what area of the ship was going to hit the ground and what part of the ship would survive or not. She suddenly realized that where She was sitting which was right beside Me, If She was sitting there, She wouldn't make it. But where I was sitting I could. She told Me this and She decided to sit where She would die. She told Me that She wasn't going to make it but that I would and that It would be extremely painful but that I would survive, I knew that when I woke up I would be in a hospital or something.

It crashed and I woke up on earth. The dreamflashed forward and it must have been sometime later because I was all better and I was watching the news feed of them Finding My body In the spaceship and carrying Me away on a stretcher. There were people asking Me questions about the crash as well.

The dreamflashed forward some more and I was sitting at a dinner table with My family and the family of the girl. They asked Me questions about how it happened and I told them the complete truth about how Where I was sitting I would survive and where She was sitting She would die. I started to remember more of what had happened and it flashed back to the spaceship. She told Me that She didn't want to land with Us because She might survive the trip but She would be too badly hurt to live a normal life again. So She went Into the airlock and ejected Herself.
But some reason their was a forcefield or something and it decapitated her. I remember telling the family that I chose to stay in My seat instead of taking her place but I almost did take her place. Suddenly Somebody told Me that this lady had questions. I made a joke to everyone saying: More questions!! Everyone laughed. I walked to where the lady was and it was My Grandma Cook. She showed Me a photo of Vaugn (childhood friend) and asked Me if this was the guy on the spaceship. I said recognized him and said yes. She said that this photo was taken of him in some middle eastern country where His part of the spaceship had landed. And He was avoiding capture by Isis or someone like that. She said that He was being escorted by a family outside of the country. She then showed Me a photo of Jared(cousin)/Chris (church friend) and It was harder to recognize but I could tell it was him. She said He was somewhere but I don't know where. She then started showing Me photos of Her hobby of taking pictures of like birds and stuff. It was like a 3d picture that had streaks on it. It was birds flying by a waterfall. I remember thinking back to Vaugn and thinking I need to go and rescue Him from where He landed. Then I woke up
