25 Seconds until the rapture

Post by ReBorn »

My 12 year old son had a dream last night.
He said he could see a clock that was ticking down. He said
everyone knew it was 25 seconds till the rapture and he also
said he was scared so he started to pray then he woke up.
When he woke up he started praying again but when
I asked him what his prayer was, he said he couldn't remember
and he might have went back to sleep!

Thanks for reading :) :D
His word was in my heart like a fire,
a fire shut up in my bones.
I was weary of holding it in
& indeed, I could not----Jeremiah 20:9

I love kids dreams... Other than the obvious that Jesus is returning soon and the time of the rapture is getting closer and closer every day. I did a symbol search for 25 and the two definitions I found was begin ministry training and forgiveness of sins. In this dream the clock is counting down rather quickly. Personally I have found that many kids start to shutdown their spiritual giftings that they have access to in the innocence of youth about the age of 12 and many times these spiritual gifts remain dormant through the teenager/young adult years and do not come forth much at all until after they have made active decisions and given their life to Christ get saved and filled with the Holy Spirit or have somebody lay hands on them and activate the gifts that are within them. That is why Jewish boys bar mitzvah at age 12-13, it is such a transitional age. Hope this helps on the dream.

Thanks for replying Brian!

You said 25 means begin ministry and forgiveness of sins.
Do you think that means my son should begin some type of ministry training?

I have always been a proponent of teaching kids ministry skills at young ages. My wife and i would often have our children's groups practice praying and stepping out in faith for things, the results are often astounding what the Lord does through the children that we don't see as adults often. There are very few opportunities for formal ministry training at that age, but I have seen it done before through parents or through active youth groups. Hope this helps.

Thank you for replying Brian! I'm definitely going to be in prayer over my son & I'll also pray for myself to have the
wisdom and understanding needed to help my son step into whatever the Lord may call him to do.

Thanks again Brian!
