Why Are Some Dreams Hard To Interpret

I seem to have dreams that are very complicated and hard to interpret. Why are some dreams so easy to interpret and some leave me puzzled?

Also, I keep dreaming about a situation but then it seems the dreams contradicts themselves. Does anyone know what this means?

This answer I have learned over the years is that many times God's dreams are complicated because He wants you to be curious and to press in to be closer to Him and to get the answers from Him. God seeks to have an open dialog with us so that we can deepen our relationship with Him which is the ultimate goal of closeness and companionship. While sometimes I have easy dreams and most times I have complicated dreams, what has changed over the years is my walk and how close I am to God. Hope this helps.
