Red Wasps in Friends House

In this dream, I was in my friend's apartment. The weather was bad outside and lightening struck 3 times. In the corner of the ceiling was a nest of red wasps. I remember thinking that we need to kill them and I woke.

Part of me has an idea of what the dream is trying to reveal but I am looking for some confirmation.
