Apostle

Post by SEER »

I dreamed my Apostle was teaching and he called me up to give ma a gift and I remember I was trying to match his bible and in his bible was this word "Basalamist" and he told me to studythis word. I saw a picture of three cups connected in the bible. It was sort of like a candle stand but it was cups joined together.

Sounds like you are trying to get on the "same page" as him, meaning you are trying to get in sync with his thinking or teaching. Not getting anything on the cups in a row or the word. Hope this helps move you forward.

Right BJ... I have to agree... Seer.... Just a thought... ever heard the expression man made law? This could be saying make sure what you hear or say lines up with God's word... I feel their is more to this.... I see you imparting a gift to the Church. And I also see 3 vessels that would take part in this. Maybe it's speaking of the 5 fold - Ministry operating in your Church?

Janice funny you say the five fold ministry because that is how our ministry operates. I believe that God is calling me to a special place within the ministry because he deal heavily with me regarding the ministry. I will just keep seeking God for direction and instructions. I know he will continue to reveal his plan to me as I am obedient. Thanks for taking the time out to respond.

14Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
15Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
16But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
17And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
18Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.
19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
20But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.
21If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.
22Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
23But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.
24And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

naveah... I figured it could be a Hebrew word.... Kewl Beans... Rightly diving the word is a good word also.

Seer... I believe this may have something to do with you laying hands on another and giving them an impartation of the gift that is in you. Could this be three people who are needing the gift of the Baptism in the holy Ghost? Or ordaininng 3 others ready for ministry in order to help you in ministry? In any case.... you are doing the right thing by staying in an attitude of prayer so He can reveal this to you.

Seer, does the word Basalamist mean anything to you?? Has the Lord given you revelation of this word??

I kept thinking that the word is a word play for something...

Ba-Psalmist...??

Could this dream be speaking of a gifting that the Lord is wanting to elevate you in but is trying to get you to come up higher...get on one page with Him in His plan for your life/? Wondering if the word isn't going to point you into the direction that you need to move into to bring you into unity with the Lord's will and word over your life/?? Seeing the cups as the doctrines of His word...I just kept hearing "Partake of my cup"...And the fact that it reminded you of a candle stand..really spoke to me of revelation of the word over your life...

Thinking that upon your study of what this word is symbolic of you will begin to rise up higher in this calling...gifting...

If this doesn't bare witness please discard...

Ba-Psalmist
Basil-Mist

Hmm./.wonder what Ba means??

Seer,
Are you gifted in music of any type? David was a Psalmist...and lotof his poetry was put to music...alot of our praise and worship was written to the words of the greatest Psalmist...
As for your Apostle, I would like to say that in this dream he represents Yeshua.
Those that worship must worship in Spirit and in truth...and out of your belly shall flow living waters...
I am also reminded that when we worship Him for who he is...the anointing flows...
As for Bas--- I am thinking Balm...was the first thing that came to my mind when I read your post..gift of healing..(have experiences this while worshipping the Lord..)...
Hope this helps...if this does not bare witness, then disregard..
Blessings in Christ,
Clarissa

Basalamist,

basal...amist

basal: of primary importance, basic [a person's 'basal metabolic rate' is the rate at which energy (calories)is used by the body AT COMPLETE REST..to maintain normal body functions.]
Applied to the body of Christ I would say that might symbolize a very basic and necessary need for the church..which, if it's lacking, it would be underfed, eventually grow unhealthy and die out.

amist, or amidst: amid[them] , amongst [them]

It may mean the gift you will receive will be of 'primary importance amongst the body of Christ'.

another definition for cup is: that which is to be recieved or endured. that which is allotted to one; a portion. (thinking of Jesus saying 'If it be possible, let this cup pass from Me').

The 'cups' might be 3 inter-related gifts. (revelatory, for example? word of wisdom/word of knowledge/discerning of spirits) Or even 3 specific purposes in God's plan for the use of your gifting.

Jesus going to the cross was a specific 'cup' assigned to Him which He accepted.

Just thinking
p.s. I also see the Apostle as representing Jesus.

Seer,
Did you see the word or hear it? Reason I ask is I wonder about the spelling, if it is correct.

I found this in a book by Ann Spangler.
Basileus Basileon means King of Kings in Greek.
(Revelation 19:16)

Bless ya,

Joy, I too was wondering about the spelling of that word...because it seemed to have a familiar sound to it...hmmm..
Isaiah 40:31
But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

I understand that the spelling seem strange "Basalamist". I thought the same thing but it was what I saw written in the bible. The Apostle told me to study this word.
