in had a dream about my mother chasing me in the rain, the running water was not heavy for me to run through but she could not get hold of me because the water piushed her back as it was heavy for her to pass through

First thing that I feel is that the Holy Spirit is easy for you to operate in and she is wanting that but it seems like she feels it is a struggle for her.

Running can indicate denial or refusal to face or do something.
I would first ask myself if there was something in real life that you don't want to do or face that she wants you to do (what is she "after you" for?)
