shirts and pins

All I remember is being in a room with my prodigal/transgender son (he thinks he's female). There were windows with daylight coming through and it seemed like it may have been in a skyscraper. There were round racks with men's t-shirts (brown and army green) hanging on them, like at a department store. They were his shirts and he was looking at them, and some of them had big (about 5" diameter) pins on them with sentences written on them. I don't remember the words except I think one said "boy" somewhere on it, and then he walked away.
