An Artistic Dream :-)

Hi all,
Had the following dream.Dreamed I was in a somewhat dimly lit
room.I was drawing a landscape type picture and then coloring it with watercolor
paints.I then went into a kitchen area that was behind me to the right.Someone
was there but I do not know who as I never saw them.There was a bar area with
stools at it and something about a coat there.I then went back to my artwork and
proceeded to cover my picture with a royal blue"wash."I am not sure if that is
the right word or not as I am not an artist.As I did this I would also dip my
brush in something white and thick that was to my left.As I worked somehow some
orange colored foamy stuff got on the lower left hand side of my painting.I
awoke at this point.Any thoughts on this odd dream anyone?

Hi Sharon,
Here's what I see in your dream, please feel free to discard anything that doesn't witness to you as I am still learning to listen to the Holy Spirit.

I see the landscape as your environment. The kitchen as perhaps the church where the Word is prepared or could be your own kitchen especially if this is where you study and pray. The coat on the bar is I think confirmation as to what this dream is about, "covering". You wash the landscape in a royal (Priestly) blue (Holy Spirit/Revelation) with your brush, you are covering your landscape in prayer and perhaps prophesying over the landscape also. When you are dipping into the thick white substance I see that as the Holy Spirit's power and pureness. When this is done your painting (prayers) are washing away the orange, seeing the orange as human will and stubborness.

Very sweet dream.

A bar is a place where people get drunk. I think of getting drunk in the spirit. The blue wash is a cleansing and the white is purity. The orange could be the glory of God rolling in like a thick fog.

Since I'm learning would you care to post the interp so I can see where I was off on the interp. If not, that is ok too.
