tattoos

Post by leila78 »

Hi,

I had a dream this morning where in the dream I went from one to three tattoos on my upper arm, thigh and leg!!.

As you can imagine, this concerned me as the word states that as believers we shouldn't be getting tattoo's.

In the dream I couldn't see what the images were but they were definetly images or pictures in vibrant dark blue and green,

maybe they're markings?

Any thoughts?
Blessings,

L.

I always think of the word "Engraved" when I see a tattoo in a dream..

To cut or impress into a surface. With a tattoo it would be in the "flesh" that its impressed into.

I usually look at what the tattoo was of also. Sometimes its about the design.

And also if a tattoo is something you wouldn't usually get then in a dream it may represent change or something..

Just a few things to consider..
love you

Thank you WFH for giving me some more positive things to dwell on!!!

The tattoos/engravings were on the right side of my body, the context is in the dreams and visions forum 'Wondering about Todd bentley, tattoos and flying doves'.

some definitions:

1. a signal on a drum, bugle, or trumpet at night, for soldiers or sailors to go to their quarters.

2. a knocking or strong pulsation: My heart beat a tattoo on my ribs.

3. British. an outdoor military pageant or display.

–noun 1. the act or practice of marking the skin with indelible patterns, pictures, legends, etc., by making punctures in it and inserting pigments.

2. a pattern, picture, legend, etc., so made.

3. to mark (the skin) with tattoos.

4. to put (tattoos) on the skin.
Blessings,

Thanks Leila for letting me know which side as this information is an important detail. Your right side speaks of what you have faith to do and your left side is what you are born to do. This dream is showing you that you are being marked by the Lord and He is giving you revelation in areas that will strengthen your walk and increase your faith.

Cool dream! The Lord is so encouraging!

As I thought about tats the expression "left an impression" came to mind.
...that I might know Him...

I think that God is marking me in the areas in my walk with Him where I need strengthening through the Word, this is similar to what Jamie said. From the context of the dream I saw a new mark(s) each time I left the kitchen,

God bless all of you!

Solomon 8:6

Place me like a seal over your heart,
like a seal on your arm;
for love is as strong as death,
its jealousy unyielding as the grave.
It burns like blazing fire,
like a mighty flame.

I heard Bob Jones saying that the seal was for service amongst other things.
