(1) Strange Visit (re-post) / (2) Father dying dream

Post by Michael »

Some months back I posted this dream that a woman I know from church had told me of....
Just this morning, I've rec'd an impression regarding the possible answer/reason to that dream.

******
(1)
Last nite a friend from church, told me of a dream she had
earler in the week regarding her daughter who died
at the age of 16 from injuries received in an auto accident
9 years earlier.

She was at her computer, working from home
when (daughter) walked into the room.
She spoke saying "why are you here?
you can't be here... you're dead"
step daughter never spoke a word So She hugged her
(but daughter never hugged her in return)and said
it was so intensely real, she could even feel the
material of the outfit she was wearing,
she could also feel her hair. then she woke up...

all previous dreams about the daughter were all
flashback/recall type dreams never one like this before.

********
(2)
Last week she told she had a terrible dream about her father.
after many years of having no relationship with him, and finally building one,
he had a heart-attack and was dying...
she couldn't get to him due to busyness.

********

I have a very strong feeling that these two dreams are
connected... before I offer my impression, I'd like to ask
for any possible ideas.

The first could mean that G-d is telling her not to consider her step-daughter as dead, but think of her as alive in heaven. That's one possibility, another I've been thinking about is 1 Th 4:16.

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

I don't know about that one, so take it with a grain of salt.

The second one I think could be that it either means literally or another possibility if he isn't saved is that G-d is killing his old heart and causing him to die, so that he can give him a new heart. Just in case, tell her to pray to G-d and pray with her that if it does mean literally that it doesn't happen.

So, let's hear what you think. I'm curious to see what you got out of it.
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Gal 2:20

Robert,
Thanks for the input... here's the impression I'm getting.

The appearent clinging to the past so tenaciously
will have a seriously negative effect on her future
relationship with whoever the father represents.

Well, you know her better then I do. So, you would probably be better to interpret this then I am. Did she happen to say what caused the heart attack? Was it natural or provoked?

Robert,

I can't really say about the origin of the heart attack
As she put it...
"my father had a heart attack and was dying..."
