Coudln't go into the Ocean

I was at the beach with a close friend of mine. She had two small children with her. They seemed to be her children but much younger than what they presently are.

We were all on the beach and she decided that they were all going out to go out into the ocean. I wanted to join them. Everyone had on rubber flip-flops (thong sandals) but me. I decided to go out into the ocean anyway, even though my friend advised against it because my feet werent covered.

However, when I reached the edge of the beach there were very sharp pebbles that hurt when I walked on them, so I went back onto the sand. My friend then said, we will just have to get some flip-flops for you, and we began to look for a place to purchase them.

What keeps coming to mind is “feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace”
