Creating a poster design for a musical/play

Hi everyone,
I would be grateful for your thoughts and interpretations on this dream,
I was working with some others(didn't know who they were) on a project to design a poster for a musical/play? where we were working in the smallest bedroom in my parents house; we didn't seem to experience any problems in the small space because we were so focused on what we were doing - I remember that at each stage it was taken to the director or manager to see what he thought - we were very creative considering the colours and what needed to be done - finally it came to a stage where I was designing the final poster all by myself in the dinning room, I worked on it creating a picture, carefully selecting a range of different fonts and colours to catch the eye of those potentially viewing it, the director came in and a explained to him what I wanted achieve through the designs he was really happy with it - one of my other collegues agreed after critiquing it that it was really good - then he said its good but it's not up to me but the boss; he was the person funding the whole thing.
