I felt to look up the first use of the word courage in the Bible:

It's from Numbers, where the spies are being instructed: "Be of good courage. And bring some of the fruit of the land."

Joshua and Caleb's response to this instruction, and their faith in God to make them victorious regardless of the obstacles, made them eligible to become captains, leaders of their clans, and that is your destiny, to be a leader and a spokesman for God as Joshua was.
