Don't understand this part

I was just wondering if anyone could give me some insight as to the meaning of paper towels in a dream. 
I dreamt that a man named Brian took a half of a paper towel that was laying on top of a bedspread and handed it to my son. My son (27 yrs old now, but looked adolescent in the dream) took it and began to tear it up in little pieces and throw it on the floor. There is more to the dream that I think I understand, but just not this part. Thanks for any insight. ~Kim
