In my dream my son had somehow got my keys and was driving my car.

He was at a stop sign or red light & I went up to the drivers side window & I was pounding on the window w/my fists
trying to get him to roll the window down so I could tell him to let me get in to drive it (He's only 12 years old)

Anyway, I saw a police car a few cars behind him and I was going to get the officer to stop my son
but something happened and I woke from the dream.

I then went back to sleep and the dream started again. This time I found my son hiding in his dad's garage crying.
I asked him where my car was but he just kept crying. I asked him if he wrecked my car and he said yes.

I then awoke from the dream again, this time I didn't go back to sleep.

Quite an interesting dream although it might be like a nightmare to you unless you look at it from a different perspective, altogether. Many times in dreams I have found that when I dream about my own children they often represent a part of myself. Well, children in dreams can even represent something we have birthed! It could be a job, a business, a ministry, a project or something that you have started?
Therefore, when I dream of one of my own children I somehow know what area of my life they might represent because I birthed them in the natural. If I dream of my youngest daughter, she is very organized and keep things very orderly and I do not so if I dream of her it is the Lord telling me to become better organized with something that I am doing or need to do. If I dream about my oldest daughter she is a nurse and I know immediately that I need to nurture and care for something I have birthed...such as my ministry, business, etc. etc.
If I dream about my son, who is my oldest child it is the Lord telling me to never give up...I taught my son throughout his years that he should never give up and he will not give up on anything!
The dream you had I am sure you have already taken authority over the fear that was involved and I always remember if I felt fear in a dream that it is usually or may not be a God Dream but even if it is the enemy trying to cause you to lose sleep about your child ...then you have authority to command the enemy off of your dream life and sleep and also off your child if he is in any kind of danger! Remember no weapon formed against you or your child shall prosper according to God's word!
Anyway, one time I had a terrible dream about my son, when he was 4 years old and I dreamed that he fell in an open septic tank and was drowned! I was always very fearful that something would happen to him...but I got up and began to pray about the dream and as I prayed I began to hear this verse so clearly in my mind, "I have come that you might have life and that goes for Jason, too!" When I heard that verse which is found in John 10: 10
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly, I felt God's peace come all over me and I knew my son was safe! My son is 40 years young so God kept his promise to me and he will do the same for you!

I know this has been quite lengthy, but one more thing before I close this. Many times vehicles in dreams speak about ministry or what you do for a living or your ministry, business, job or something you have birthed is going. Have you birthed something that seems to be out of control other than your own natural child? Anyway, those are the questions I ask myself when I have dreams such as the one you have shared.

Father, I thank you for bringing forth clarity to ReBorn and open the eyes of their understanding that they might know the meaning behind this dream...make it crystal clear so they can cooperate with you if this dream is from you to them....Thank you Father, that you always speak to your child when they call upon your name and bring forth total victory in this and every matter concerning them in Jesus Name. To me this dream is a lot like the other one involving your son that I replied to in the other thread, I think they might be related dreams... to me this dream says... He is too young to really take off yet like in the same manner you do, he needs some work to be done through the Holy Spirit first and to grow in age and wisdom as well before he can take off.

Julia, I never really thought about the idea of my dream not being about my son
(but as you mentioned it might actually be something I birthed, at work, etc...)
That gives me something completely different to think & pray about!
