Shalom my Mishpookeem, (Family)
I hope that you all are doing well and that your families are blessed. Sara and I have been exceedingly blessed by Yahveh.
Last night, I had a strange dream. I dreamed that I was in bed asleep and was awakened and drawn to the door. It has a beveled glass set of patterns that admit light and you can see through but not clearly. When I approached the door I noticed that the light was out and that outside of the door was the absolute absence of light.
As soon as I realized this, a dark power came through the glass and struck me off of my feet, not down to the ground but up to the ceiling. My body was inside of a web of electricity. I was dismayed but not frightened. I began to rebuke this power and cover myself, Sara, our renters and the house with the blood of Yehoshua. I also gave thanks to Yahveh for his protection. When I did this I woke up and continued to pray in this fashion until I went back to sleep.
If someone has an interpretation, or understanding please let me know.

I have some thoughts but did want to ask if you've ever felt the tangible Presence of God manifest as an electric current? If your answer is yes, did that feeling in the dream feel similar to the "electrical current" Presence you knew unmistakenly was Him?

Yes, I wondered along the same lines as Keilani but as you describe it as a "dark power" I'm gong with the fact that you discerned correctly for now (though I think that Keilani's question is a good one because there are times when we can be thrown off balance by God's in breaking self-revelation/ when it does not fit our grid...in the same way that the Pharisees were... having been immersed in the Bible since childhood I constantly check myself in this area...a religious spirit can be deceived and identify good as evil).
A bevelled glass door is designed to let in light to a room but to dissimulate the visibility of those in the room to those outside the room and vice versa. In other words there is an exchange of light but a lack of detail or clarity.
As you approached the door you became acutely aware of the (absolute) darkness beyond your intimate safe place of rest and that darkness overcame you and raised you up, held you aloof and not by your own strength knocked you off your feet so to speak...if this darkness was indeed malignant then I would say that fear may have been a factor...as you contemplate the darkness beyond your safe place the thing you feared overcame you and entered in...
I wondered what happened in the dream when you rebuked the power...do you remember? Did your wife share a disturbed night/dream?

Thank you for your prayerful input, I appreciate it.
I have never felt the presence of Elohim as electricity flowing over my body. I have felt this same unpleasant feeling as a side effect of Niaspan, electricity and heat all over my body.
I called it a "dark power" because there was a complete absence of light. The power did not seem in any way friendly or malignant. The feeling of being propelled to the ceiling dismayed me perhaps made me a little frightened which resulted in my rebuking it, and to cover myself in Yehoshua's blood. Almost immediately, I woke up breathing a little heavy. I continued to pray and went back to sleep. Sara did not have a disturbed dream, but it took her longer than usual to get to sleep.
I will say this, the ministry that Sara and I perceived Yahveh had for us has had a sharp change of course after a period of inactivity to learn. We were dismayed at the apparent loss but rejoiced at the new direction and the new people who we have been put into ministry with. We have a lot of ground to cover but we have learned to cherish challenges.
