Identification Taken

Post by lisaray »

Greetings all in the Name of Jesus,

I dreamed I was moving from some apartments to a big house somewhere (I live in a house in real life). I had a huge file cabinet and I had it put outside of the apartment complex. I was to spend one more night in the apartment and move with the rest of my things in the morning. In the file cabinet along with other things I had filed away, I put my purse with my wallet in it. In My wallet was all mi ID (driver's license, social, VA ID). Some time during the night, I told my husband of my concern for hacing my purse in the unlocked file cabinet and he said I shoudnt've done that because anybody can take it. Daybreak was coming and I started for outside to make sure my things were still there. I wanted my husbnd to come with me, but he wouldn't move. As I got closer to where the file cabinet was, I saw a line of people with a police officer guiding and instructing them. They were in line to get my things from the file cabinet. I was going to go back and get my husband so he could help me, but I knew he wouldn't come, so I went on. As I apporoaced the police officer, I saw many people with stuff and goig through other stu to see what they wanted. I told the police officer that this was my stuff. She looked startled and I kne she wanted to tell me that I shouldnt've left it out there like that. But I told her all I wanted was my ID's, I didn't care aout the money or anything. She went to the front of the line to tell the people. SHe took so long that I went on back to my now empty apartment. I told my husband what had happened. I changed my clothes and had on a short dress. I was going back to the police officer to see if there was any new news. Of course my husband wasn't coming. As I looked at him his face changed twice. He was a guy I grew up from the neighborhood and my ex-husband.

I was holding to the rails on each side and swing down. AS I raised my arms, it raised my dress. I could hear some guys who had now gathered under the stairs saying, "Y'all come and look, we can see her panties." I was embarrased and went in to get something to cover me. I asked my husband for his jacket, but he never gave it to me. Then I realized the guy was lying, because I remembered I didn't have any panties on.

As I was going back to the file cabinet, my granddaughter walked in with my ID's. As she handed them to me, I asked how did she get them and who had them. She just smirked, but wouldn't tell me. I realized that she either knew who had them or she had them all along. Then she said, "Didn't you say yo didn't care about the money?" I told her yes, then I asked if she was the one, she still didn't answer, then she casually walked off.

I pray the Lord will give an answer of peace. This dream has me concerned. Please, whatever the Lord gives, please share.

Thanks in advance

Hello Lisaraye, just some brief thoughts for now but will post more later because I am away from my pc. The first thing thatcomes to me is perhaps you have revealed or shared something about yourself to exhort someone. However, you may feel vulnerable from opening up. The cop brings to mind a form of legalism or legalistic thoughts coming into play. What comes to me is how others my view what was put out in the open. Instead of being uplifted and encouraged it is like they are being critical. I viewed the I'd a's symbolic of your I'd in Christ, it looks like the devil is playing games in an attempt to steal it. What comes to me in regards to your husband is how you used too handle a situation bs now. For example, in a situation the old me would go slap off on a person and every once in a while I would get in a physical fight. The new me would pray and walk away until the right moment to handle the situation responsibly. I hopes this makes sense and will post more later!

Praise the Lord Newbie,

One agaon, confirmation. This what I felt also. That I opened up about some personal stuff of myself to encourage, uplift others and some wanted a part (the line at the file cabinet), and yet others were judgemental and critical and some even put more into it than what was said or seen.

If the Lord reveals anything more, please share.

Thank you

I agree that the purse, wallet and ID's represent identity. But, it's possible that they represent the identity of the old man, the images of self. In the dream, you're moving on to a new place, representing your irl moving forward in Spirit. You've packed away the past in a file cabinet which you're prepared to leave behind. But, the dream informs about our tendency to go back to try and retrieve (and live in) the old man's identities.

Just a starting point and one possibility.

Hello LisaRaye, finally back at my pc. In your dream you were moving from an apartment to that of a house; I viewed the move as a transition. When an occupant stays in an apartment, they usually have a lack of freedom and they are forced to be mindful and considerate of others. So I viewed your stay at the apartment as a season in which you had little to no freedom and you your forced to deal with things that were beyond your control. As previously stated and from your confirmation, you opened yourself up to others and in the process you felt vulnerable from people’s views and reactions. What I am gathering from the belongings were forms of id and some money amongst other stuff. You only cared about your id and not the other stuff, what comes to me is passage about is storing up treasures in heaven.
I wanted to add that for some reason, the man comment about your underwear brought to mind an old school phrase of “put some drawers on it”. Basically this mean to keep something covered or protected. The guy is pointing is attempting to cover the true meaning of what you put out; however, you are not wearing any and this speaks to me as you feel you have nothing to hide. So this scene has me thinking along the lines of someone adding on some extra stuff or what I like to say is telling a Paul Bunyan tale.
In regards to the granddaughter symbolism, I view her as being a part of yourself that is perhaps lacking experience, restraint, and maturity; in other words, the “child” in you. Money can be a representation of different things: blessings, power/authority, objectives, etc… I believe based upon the apartment symbolism that it symbolizes power/authority. The question she posed about the money, is like you are reflecting over your motives in the situation. Your response establishes your true feelings: you do not care about the “money”! Additionally her walking away and not answering you have me thinking that this little issue has left you. As usual toss if it does not ping in the spirit!
