Strange dream about a mafia type family

Post by manicmusician »

To set this up...This was all being watched on television with something like hidden camera footage...

A man, something like a mafia boss, was on a shipyard dock in a phone booth that stood next to some containers. He was on the phone with a lesser family member, and they were conspiring about something that I sensed was evil. From behind, a very large police officer ran up to the don and startled him. The don held an automatic weapon in his left hand, and as he was startled, it almost accidentally went off, spraying the policeman with bullets, and killing him instantly. The don seemed almost afraid and surprised at what he had done, ran a few steps to the side, pointed back at the policeman laying there, and started saying "A Jew did this. It was a Jew."

Soon several members of the mafia family were there with the don. Foreign men, about 3 if I remember it right, came individually upon the scene, and with each one's entrance, the don would yell, "Kill him! Shoot him! Kill him now!", and members of the family would mercilessly open fire at point blank range on these men who were asking for mercy.

Eventually a considerably smaller police officer came upon the scene, and the don screamed out, "Kill him! Shoot him now!", and they mowed him down too.

These people just reeked of unregenerate evil.

Then, the scene shifts to a studio headshot of a newsman who said, "This is what these people did to me." As he said that, they flashed a photo that was similar to the before and after photos of meth addicts. Sunken jaws, bulging but droopy eyes, looking 30 years older and awful, skin all clammy looking, et cetera. Then, they go back to the live shot of the man looking healthy and he says, "But I'm better now."

This was the dream. Again, other than the newsman, it was all like hidden camera footage. I tend to think it's related to something personal. It was so graphic and disturbing that as I awoke from it, my stomach was so tight you could bounce a quarter off of it. It made me physically ill. Any insights the Lord may give someone would be appreciated. God bless.

Howdy,

I think you have already figured that the mafia people represent the enemy, and the policemen are representing authority. The last scene in the dream with the news camera shows that the issue at hand is one of being changed from meth addict back to one of the living again. As you are not directly involved in the dream, it seems to be given as something that is going on around you, so you might personally know the person whom this dream refers to. Definately a call to pray for them. A meth addict is constantly at battle within themselves, the enemy is mercyless against them. In the last church we attended, they had a meth recovery program. I definately learned about meth and its effects on people. You might want to check into several books and dvd's about recovery, I can dig a little and get you the info if you need it. Hope this helps.

Thanks, BJ.

I'm feeling that much of this was purely symbolic. The reference to the meth addict before and after photo is not meant to say that's what it was, but it just reminded me of that kind of thing.

I can't help but feel that the newsman represents me in some way, as in this dream I felt directly threatened by these people, and I have been going through a horrific personal experience with a particular family. I may be wrong.

I'm still unsure on the foreigners, and on the whole hidden camera footage deal, and why I was watching this on a television. Although the outcome seems pretty clear, there are parts of the dream that don't make a lot of sense to me.

Any further insight and revelation would be welcomed and appreciated. God bless.
