A friend saw a vision of me (from behind) naked. Acouple of weeks later a different friend saw a vision of Jesus coming up to me to place a deep velvetly blue robe around my shoulders. (Both of these visions occured during worship.)
In real life, my husband was very ill and in the hospital. He's diabetic, so this is not an unusual thing for us to experince. I was praying for him. He was falling asleep, so I got up to leave. He asked me to stay, so I moved over to the other side of his bed and sat where he could see me whenever he opened his eyes and he'd know I was there without having to look around. As I sat down, he said, "You took off your blue gown" in a disappointed voice.
He hallucinates when his blood sugars are high. I don't know if he was hallucinating or seeing spiritually the blue robe/ gown.

Jodi,
The color blue can represent the Holy Spirit as well as something
heavenly.
Anytime I hear about a gown or robe, I think of this verse:
Isa 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Some versions say gown instead of garments.
Hope this helps...
Mary

gown, garment, mantle?
I think I should go to Biblegateway.com to look up "gown" and "garment." Maybe there are many Biblical references to them and one will stand out among the others.
I was thinking a mantle was a head dress, but it is a gown/ garment. I've been considering it a heavenly mantle of some kind.
Maybe for healing, maybe for prophetic ministry - not neccessarily well-known, but able to help others
with it.
