Owl?

Post by ReBorn »

I suspect my son has a prophetic calling on his life (though he is still very young)

We were all sitting in the room when all of a sudden, he said mom-did you hear that owl?

He said this twice and was very serious- though at the time it was so quiet you could have heard a pin drop :?

Anyone know what an owl symbolizes?
His word was in my heart like a fire,
a fire shut up in my bones.
I was weary of holding it in
& indeed, I could not----Jeremiah 20:9

Reborn...if you search under owl you may unearth more but here is a dream I had a while back re owls and people's comments might help you too.

Owls are nocturnal...you expect to hear them in the night...but there night vision is exceptional and they are very accurate predators. Often associated with wisdom and Bethel links them symbolically with the current season of the prophetic

I remember one time when my teen-age daughter received a prophetic word about her calling... and then one time she had a dream/vision of seeing simply an owl looking at her.

She was also told of having the ability to be up at night, 3 am, 4 am and getting visions and words from the heavenly realm...

An owl makes a sound like, "Hoo, Hoo!"

And with that I am thinking of the word, "ho" that I have seen in the Word as an exclamation of something.

fear of the Lord = begining of wisdom

Post by Jodi »

When God gave me a vsion about an owl, I immediately thought, "Owls mean wisdom." After I'd thought that, God gave me this Scripture, "The beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord."

Wisdom is what comes to mind, yes.
