Vicious Dogs

My husband had this vision: It was about a man he knows that was a pastor(we believe it was a cult) and took a break for 3 yrs, he has begun to build a new church.

This man was standing outside his home on his driveway. Up the street came a pack of wild vicious dogs, parking and snarling at everyone in there path but hurting no one.

Then when the dogs came to the man on his driveway; they started attacking him, ripping his body apart.

Men would come along and try to help pull off the dogs, the dogs would push the other men down but not harm them, and then the dogs would go back to tearing up the man.
There was nothing left of the man.

When I read this the first thing that came into my mind was 1 Kings 21:23 "And also concerning Jezebel the LORD says: 'Dogs will devour Jezebel by the wall of Jezreel.'
24 "Dogs will eat those belonging to Ahab who die in the city, and the birds of the air will feed on those who die in the country." It says in the scriptures before that this judgment will be cast on Jezebel and Ahab because they had caused Israel to sin. If this man was a leader of a cult or even just teaching one degree short of God's word then he is guilty of leading people astray. I would think this dream to be prophetic in nature pertaining to his pending judgment. But always check this with prayer and God's word.

Hi Kimberly,
We often have to ask why when we receive a dream. So why did the Lord show this to your husband? If it is the man in the dream IRL or if he is symbolic of this type church, the dream reveals the body will also come under attack. The people who were trying to come to the rescue were unable to help him. I am believeing that your husband's prayers and intercession for this man or the body of believers, cult or not, will make a difference. We especially need to interceed for them if Jesus is not their Lord.

In scripture dogs can represent evil people. In some of my dreams dogs represent false prophets or wicked people.

Phillippians 3:2 Look out for the dogs, look out for the evil workers, look out for the concision party.
