VISION?: Jesus in the Moon
My adopted brother who is mentally disabled (around 23 yrs old I think and a capacity of an 8-12 yr old), deaf, mute, and virtually blind was in the hospital recently with double pneumonia, very ill, in ICU, etc. When he got into a regular room, my mom said he raised his arm and pointed at something and was trying to talk. He is back home now and last night my parents went out and when they returned, he had drawn on the white board on the fridge a picture of the moon with an arrow pointing to it and next to that he had written JESUS. (It was a full moon here last night, but my mom said that with his natural vision she wouldn't think he could see the moon.) He is a believer but this is not a word he commonly uses or maybe even knows how to spell. He told my mom that he "SAW JESUS IN THE MOON WITH HIS BLUE EYE." (he has one blue and one green eye, he's virtually blind in the blue eye)
I told her to ask him some other questions like does he know what it means, or did he see Jesus at the hospital too, did he say anything to him, etc. And I'm going to go see him and ask him too. But I wanted to post this to see if y'all get anything on what "Jesus in the moon" could mean.
Blessings...

I absolutely believe this is indeed what is happening with him (In the last days he pours out his spirit on all flesh, sons and daughters prophesy, young men see visions, etc. Joel 2. The simple to confound the wise, the least shall be greatest, etc.), I'm just very curious about what "Jesus in the moon" means.
Was searching around last night and was reminded that the moon is sometimes a symbol for the Son of Man, or his return. Luke 21 talks about the signs preceding the return of Jesus:
There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. --Luke 21:25
Still chewing on it...

I'll come back & respond to this thread again later. . .(so responding now which will help me find it easier). I defintly believe that the moon represents Jesus. I'll come back later to respond from my personal dream experience. But notice that while on earth Jesus only did what he saw & heard his Father do in heaven. Well, the moon's only light comes from the Sun. So I do feel that the Sun represents God the Father. Not the we worship the Sun or Moon at all of course! But very cool that your adopted brother saw this!!!!!!!

The moon is our light by night...our guide in the darkness. Jesus is the guide in his physical darkness. The moon is the faithful witness of God in the darkness.
Psalm 89:37
it will be established forever like the moon, the faithful witness in the sky.”
Jeremiah 31:35
This is what the Lord says, he who appoints the sun to shine by day, who decrees the moon and stars to shine by night, who stirs up the sea so that its waves roar— the Lord Almighty is his name

Update...visited my parents tonight and got to ask my brother some questions! He's 27, but it's really hard for him to put sentences together, so I am still not sure what exactly happened but I know he saw Jesus!
He said he went outside the night of the full moon and he said he saw Jesus and there were rays of light (he mentioned the colors blue and yellow), the rays were coming to the houses where apparently Jesus knew the people. He said one of the rays of light came into him and one came into the window by the door of their house. He also said that Jesus told him to look into his eyes and they were golden light! He said something about breathing and said Jesus looked into his heart.
Mom told him that was something very special for him and he looked at her like he didn't get it. LOL I told her it's probably that faith like a child thing...he has no reason to think it's unusual.
Not sure what all happened there, but something did!

Oh and he drew something for me on the white board...
A circle with a horizontal line dividing it in half. He said one half was blue and the other was yellow. I think the top was blue and the bottom was yellow (golden light rays that were coming down). And he wrote "JESUS" next to it.

26 Moreover, the light of the moon will be like the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be sevenfold, like the light of seven days [concentrated in one], in the day that the Lord binds up the hurt of His people, and heals their wound [inflicted by Him because of their sins.
Isaiah 30:26
Lord, do pity and have mercy on my son, for he has epilepsy (is moonstruck) and he suffers terribly; for frequently he falls into the fire and many times into the water. Matthew 17:14-16
The word of God says in Malachi 4:2, But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves [released] from the stall and leap for joy.
Well those beams are beams of Light!!! Jesus is the Light and His light shines out all darkness!!
Blessings in Christ,

Clare!!! I'm just sitting here with my mouth open.....
This is from the Lord for sure...wait till you hear this...He has a history of seizures and violent rages and I have been praying for his deliverance!!!!!!!!!!
I am very familiar with these scriptures and was even given the first one you listed on this, but I hadn't made the connection. And I didn't know epilepsy was called "moonstruck?" And I hadn't read 'beams" before in Mal 4:2...
Can you tell me what version/translation you are in?
This is so awesome! Yay Jesus!!!

Amplified version....
Actually, for the past several months, the Lord has me listening to Katie Souza...the Lord gave revelation about the Glory light of Jesus healing soul wounds.
We go through deliverance and apply the blood of Jesus for the sin but the wound is still there.. 1 John 3 says, " I wish above all that you would prosper and be in good health even as your SOUL prospers"...
I would encourage to go and listen to some of the revelatory teachings that the Lord has given her...it will bless you...
Love you sis,

PS..Moonstuck is also referance to witchcraft.

We are absolutely beyond the place of needing a point of contact. I don't think I've ever had anyone lay hands on me for healing when I've been healed. JESUS HEALS.
I have hope for my brother because there was hope for the demoniac. I cannot wait to see what Jesus does.

If this idea were acceptable, why were we commanded by the Lord himself to lay hands on the sick in the NT?
Mark 16 "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.16“He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.17“These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;18they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Even Jesus Himself "laid hands" in Luke 13 "
"And when Jesus saw her, He called [her to Him] and said to her, Woman, you are released from your infirmity! Then He laid [His] hands on her, and instantly she was made straight, and she [a]recognized and thanked and praised God."
I can't imagine that there would be any kind of arrival at some level beyond the Lords status or authority that would cause us to say we don't need the laying of hands any longer.

Just to be clear, at no point was I stating that we "shouldn't" lay hands on people. When Peter's shadow fell on sick people laid out in the streets of cities, they were healed instantly. It is the same as when we pray for someone and sometimes they are healed or delivered without laying on of hands. So it is not always "necessary" to lay hands on someone. Two very important things to remember are to always be submitted to the direction of Holy Spirit as to whether to lay hands or not lay hands, how to pray, etc...and that God is totally sovereign and can heal and deliver any way he wants.

What you have said directly above in the 6:13pm entry is true. Can you explain to me what you meant when you said in this previous part? Maybe I have misunderstood.Warrior Princess wrote:We are absolutely beyond the place of needing a point of contact. Aside from the sovereignty of God in deciding how he wants to heal, a point of contact (such as laying on of hands or the TV/computer, etc) isn't necessary if God so chooses to heal without that. The question is...Is our faith in HIM or is it in the laying on of hands or the person doing it? Can he do it through the laying on of hands? Yes. But, if we think we can only be healed through the laying on of hands, then our faith might not be in HIM alone.
Example: In my brother's case, some of us who were praying for his healing and deliverance were waiting for the Lord to tell us when to go lay hands on him. We didn't need to, because He exceeded our expectations and just showed up and did it Himself! So can Jesus heal and deliver someone without a human/point of contact? Absolutely.
Hope that clarifies.

Thank you. These things we do know.. that the Lord heals in various ways...but it didn't really address what you said about being "beyond" needing it. Jesus Himself laid hands on people, so it has more aspects and power connected to that action than someone's level of faith. Even the woman who had an issue of blood for years, wasn't healed by her great faith in approaching Him as He walked, but by her touching his robes fringe (and power went out from Him). As a nurse, I can tell you that a holy touch contains a power in it that cannot be transmitted by any other means. God has made it so, and this is why we are told to lay hands on the sick as part of our commission.Warrior Princess wrote:Aside from the sovereignty of God in deciding how he wants to heal, a point of contact (such as laying on of hands or the TV/computer, etc) isn't necessary if God so chooses to heal without that.
