Man with the withered hand

Post by rinico »

Hi Loved Ones
I had a dream two nights ago that I was in a place like a casino. A friend of mine is staying in this casino with her husband. Her apartment was the most beautiful open plan apartment. I was walking through this gambling place and I clearly saw this “The man with the withered hand” as it is written as a heading in the New Testament (Mark 3; Matt 12).
I feel that this dream could have something to do with finances?? I might be wrong but I have this strong feeling.
If somebody could prayerfully help me with insights to this dream. W

Gods blessings be upon you
Luv

Rinico,

The thing that most stands out to me about the passages in Mark 3:1-6 and Matthew 12:9-14 is not the simple fact that Jesus healed the man with the withered hand, which He did. Rather what stood out to me was the circumstances and surroundings in which this healing was performed.

Notice the focus of the Biblical story is not on the man with the withered hand at all in that he is barely mentioned but once at the first and once at the last of the story, so he is used simply to make a point in the bigger story. The focus of the story is on Jesus and the pharisees and how their heart was so hardened toward Him. The pharisees were so hateful and purposeful in their hearts against Jesus that they simply just could not accept Him healing or doing other things on the sabbath. They were more in love with their pious keeping of the rules and their ways of doing things, that even when the Messiah was right in front of them and showing them His power even in restoring the withered hand. They still refused to believe. Prior to this story, Jesus had been accused of breaking the sabbath, and He made the bold statement that He is the Lord of the Sabbath (claiming to be God) which is what angered them (sacrilige in their minds). So before they got to this point they were using the man with the withered hand as bait to trap Jesus. You see, in their minds, if Jesus broke the Sabbath law and did work even to inlcude healing a person then he could not be their Messiah. Jesus heals the man on the sabbath anyway despite the pharisees trap.

Now back to your dream... The casino is a place of gambling and of throwing away money. The man with the withered hand is bait. The key I believe is you have a choice... Will you act like Jesus and speak healing and have compassion to the man with the witherd hand or will you be religious or and rigid like the pharisees in your thinking. This dream could also have to do with finances that need to be restored and have a dual meaning. Hope this helps.

Hi Brian

Thanks for your insights on this dream. Will take this to the Lord in prayer.

I agree that this has definitely to do with finances that needs to be restored. I have this strong confirmation inside me.

Thanks once again
