A basket of eggs

I had this dream a few nights ago and thought maybe it was just a dream brought on by activities of the week. Mainly because I knew we had to get eggs to color for Easter and I had said something to my husband about getting the extra eggs.

It was a quick dream but for some reason I keep thinking about it....

In the dream I was in the kitchen and on the counter was a basket made of metal and it had a handle. The wire like metal basket contained very very white clean eggs and my husbands grandma had bought the eggs for us to make Easter eggs. In the dream I was thinking that me and my husband were suppose to buy the eggs but was grateful for the gift from grandma. I liked the basket and the eggs and how they were presented to us in such a way instead of in a cardboard carton.

I agree - some kind of family inheritance passed down generation to generation, probably a spiritual gift. The eggs can mean new beginnings, promises, or my favorite - POTENTIAL! A basket can mean heart, or fruitfulness. I feel Grandma is an aspect of God and HE/SHE is giving you and your family, from HIS fullness and HIS FAMILY LINE, great potential and a promise of abundant fruitfulness. Your thinking about wanting to purchase them yourself, can be a part of ourselves, our ego, that wants to do things ourself, and earn things. But the Lords gifts are FREE and you truly appreicate the unearned gift! Love this dream!
