Meat Grinder/Bread Grinder

Post by HisBlood »

My youngest son Jericho had this dream the first night we were camping in the mountains -

Aug. 31

I was on a moving gurney headed for what looked like
a meat grinder, but had bread dough going into it, instead!
I was stuck in the dough, couldn't get out and knew I was
going to get ground up! I was yelling in the natural,
"Mom, Mom" and was thinking Mom bake the bread so
it would get hard (cooked) and I could escape from it
easier!

I was in my grandparents trailer and they woke me up
and said, "It's okay Jericho". I was fine when I woke
up and looked at the time 3:53 am

Thanks for any thought on my dream

meat of the Word, Bread of Life are two pictures I got in my head. Also, the seed must fall into the ground and die before it produces fruit.

Sounds like the Lord is preparing Jericho for something intense, (meat) perhaps a ministry or, that he is to deliver a "word from the Lord"

and that the meat of the Word ( not the milk which is "easier") isn't as easy to "feed" upon whomever it is He is entrusting to Jericho.

Meat requires a course of action..(chewing)

Even if it be his own parents( mom)

Just some thoughts here. This is not my forte' but was the very first thing that came to mind while reading it.

GREAT DREAM though.

I will go and pray immediately for rich, Spirit led, answer(s) for Jericho.

Please give him an ET hug for me and save a big one for yourself beloved.

Both the meat and the bread are the Word.

Jericho has to do with the walls of Jericho (Need any 'walls' down?).

You need to look up to see what scripture fits 3:53. It has to make sense, and it could have further meaning. Hope this helps, SpecialK

Hello Hisblood,

Whatever may be coming up, he is going to need you in a supportive roll. I say this because he called out for you in the dream in order for you to "change the consistency/texture" of the "type of condition" he was contained within, so that it would be easier for him to escape the coming threat. He was thinking you would put "heat" to it (bake it) to make it easier for him to escape. Sometimes our mom is our higher self in dreams, but that isn't always the case. In this case, he was "stuck" within the situation (dough) and needed help from someone on the outside. If you don't represent the Lord in this dream, then you are literally the one he will look to for this help.

He thought, within the dream, that "hardness" might help, seeing that he was embroiled in softness. This may be a situation where his being softhearted/easy going/ too pliable in his approach will not be very helpful.

Blessings and His protection,
UHW

You have no idea how spot on you are, with your interpretation ;)
This describes my son's situation and his relationship with me,
to a T. Just the other day he told me Holy Spirit told him to
tell me everything that happens in his life and seek my council.

This is especially true ;)

He has been maturing in this area! Not being too soft and letting
people basically mould him, to their standards or idea of him.

Thank you for this! As Jericho read it, he kept saying "wow,
and they don't even know me".

The Word is such priority in our home, so this helps alot too!
No walls for him, he is an open book, exceptionally transparent ;)
Thanks to you, as well

Last night he was fishing with my oldest son and I knew something
was wrong, they started to wade in from the long river/lake and he
almost went under! His brother got him out of there quickly, they
are bery close! He was hyperventilating, so I got him all bundled
up and by the fire, as quickly as possible! His grampa gave him his down-filled vest!

I know how big your sign of relief and thanksgiving must have been to have him back on shore and in that down vest. I have three grown children and 11 grandchildren of my own.

I thank the Lord with you.

Yes, but I had every reassurance, his brother was with him
and he was the one staying with him ;) Jamieson said he
had an urgency to get out of the water and besides that
I was standing on shore with my hands on my hips, lol!

God is soooo good! We pray every trip Psalm 91 and the
BLOOD covering! He is faithful!

I have one grandchild and I am so blessed she is in
our lives! It seemed as though it was impossible, but
GOD is sooooo good! 6 weeks ago I fell face forward
on our basement stairs carrying Destiny (9 months)
I cocooned her and hit my arms and face on the stairs
and the cement floor! Shattered my wrist, broke my
nose and almost my neck! Had lacerations all over my
face and body! Wrist was operated on and now has a
plate, pins, screws and bone grafting! 2 weeks after
the op, they out me in a splint, everything is healing so
well. Doc told me my nurtrtition I'm on, is exceptional!
First broken bone in 53 years and it will be a memorable
one! My grandaughter is alive and not a mark on her
and I get to take care of her full-time, praise God!
My little Destiny Blessings

That sounds "very" painful, but what a testimony to the protective love of a grandmother and of our God.

It must be difficult to take care of Destiny with your wrist in a cast.

Yes it was and is! BUT it is healing well!

And she loves to be carried ;) So I use it
lots, I can't resist those big brown eyes
and sweet little face looking up at me, saying
Mama!
She grabs hold pretty good and hangs on,
such a smart little girl! I have a muscled
arm and a skinny one, lol!

Hello Hisblood,

First of all, congratulations on being a Grandma!!! There is true joy and blessing as a Grandma. I adore my grandchild too and she feels like my own child. :)

I just wanted to bring up scripture as I was studying. I read the dream before but did not have anything to offer until I ran across the scriptures in Isaiah 28 and a bell rang. Of course it may just be the symbols I remembered while reading and not particularly relating. Feel free to dismiss what does not witness! Otherwise, just enjoy the scriptures they all have something to say and learn from. Perhaps a blessing from the Lord after a trial or hard work!

I will just post the scriptures and leave any guidance and/or discussion and interpretation between you and Jericho. May God bless you both with understanding and guidance.

Isaiah 28
Listen to the Teaching of God

23 Give ear and hear my voice,
Listen and hear my speech.
24 Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow?
Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods?
25 When he has leveled its surface,
Does he not sow the black cummin
And scatter the cummin,
Plant the wheat in rows,
The barley in the appointed place,
And the spelt in its place?
26 For He instructs him in right judgment,
His God teaches him.
27 For the black cummin is not threshed with a threshing sledge,
Nor is a cartwheel rolled over the cummin;
But the black cummin is beaten out with a stick,
And the cummin with a rod.
28 Bread flour must be ground;
Therefore he does not thresh it forever,
Break it with his cartwheel,
Or crush it with his horsemen.

29 This also comes from the Lord of hosts,
Who is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance.
With love in Christ,
Annette

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21
Are we conforming into the image of Christ; or trying to conform His image into ours?

Thanks Annette,
This is very interesting, esp since I was reading this passage
about cummin only a week or so ago!

The highlighted passage is very interesting....off to study
on it all! I love the Word;)

Yes grandchildren are amazing ;)
