Something rolling in mud

I had this dream last night. I know there was more to it, but there is only one part I recall.

I saw something rolling in what looked like mud. It kind of looked like part of a snake, though it was smooth, maybe a worm. A part of it's body would surface a little, but was large. Then it rolled very slowly around, as it rolled it got fatter, but I only saw part of it.
